So I decided to try the color challenge! I’m looking to improve my coloring with different tools and hopefully improve over the next month. Day #1 thedailymarker30day actually started yesterday June 1st. Although I had a late start, since the local stamp show yesterday and today, I was too tired to post pics last night of my first coloring challenge using plain sharpie markers we all have around the house. Plus if you’re a nurse in your real job then you use them to write out labels for those IVF & IV meds. I hope you enjoy my journey with color th color as much as I hope too! 🌈    List of supplies:

 This month is all about Masculine cards. So that means it’s all about the guys in our lives. I find the Truly Tailored suite to be a good basic for most guys, since it has some neutrals along with fun prints. The coordinating stamps really work well for those professional guys, as well as the everyday guy. Then I used the new Handwritten stamp for some pattern on the first card since it felt plain to me. This stamp is in the new catalog and really is a great stamp to add some pattern without using DSP sometimes. I added some gold twine and corduroy ribbon to add more texture to the cards. As well as rounding the corners using the Detailed Trio punch available today in the new catalog! Then one of my favorite the Birthday Witt stamp set is such a fabulous way to say Happy Birthday to most people in our lives. I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I did making them. Check back for the May Paper Pumpkin cards I made this month. They are a masculine theme and with Father's Day around the corner it was a great choice.
