Watercolor Wednesday challenge DT

I have decided to try out for Watercooler Wednesday design team. This card is simple and pretty with this Gina Marie cross against the sparkle embossing folder. I made the card for a friend to give to her pastor and felt it should be simple and with a special saying for all her pastor has done to help her.

I feel this would be a great way for me to continue to challenge myself with my stamping and being creative. As well, have an opportunity to work with a great design team would be fantastic. I am newly part of the Blogging Friends Blog Hop too, which has introduced me to so many creative people. I thank you for your consideration Watercooler Wednesday Design Team.

A Snowy Day Ahead...

12/8/2017

Well since tomorrow is bringing on the very first snowflakes of the season I felt my snowman card would be perfect! I came across this Penny Black snowman stamp and loved it! I knew he would be fabulous to put on watercolor paper and breakout my watercolor pencils. He’s super cute but needed a little sparkle for his hat, so I had to add glitter! Then using my new chunky glitter for the snowy affect under him would be perfect. I didn’t add a saying because I feel like he just says “I’m happy,” which is how I remember playing in the snow when I was a kid.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. If you are in the snow belt this weekend, I hope you enjoy your snowy weekend. I know I will be enjoying some stamping with friends while watching the flakes fall!

Stamparateous PreOrder!!!

This will be the last preorder for Stamparatus before the new catalogue comes out next year. They will start shipping March 19th on this preorder time slot.

It begins Tuesday December 5 at 2 pm MT. It ends December 30th. Orders will be shipped in order they were received on March 19, 2018. So if you order December 5th it will ship to you before a person who orders December 30th.

The last preorder sold out in 15 minutes! Don’t get stuck waiting until next summer before you can order!

What comes in the Stamparatus? Compared to other products on the market these are some of the best features!

1. You get 2 removable panels that can flip over to use both sides. That’s 4 surfaces for stamps.

2. You can move the panel down 1 or 2 spaces to add the same image to another spot on the card.

3. Larger magnets than other products.

4. A place for you to put your magnets when not in use, so they won’t snap together and break.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop December 2017

Welcome to the December’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
It’s all about Christmas and New Years!

I have wanted to make some cards with the Merry Cafe stamp set, so here’s my card. Embossing the cup first came to mind, even though I’m not a coffee drinker myself, I do love hot chocolate though. Since I prefer cold drinks most of the time, I usually have half iced tea/lemonade even on those blizzard days here in New England.

Then I decided to use the Christmas tree paper in the Be Merry DSP. I’m usually into decorating for the holiday, but even with an extra week my tree isn’t up yet in my living room! I have to get on that. Last year I did have trees in every room. My sister doesn’t put up any tree, since their cat likes to crawl up it, lol. I’m sure Crystal “aka Super Stamp Girl” and the other cat moms know all about that. Last year at Thanksgiving my sister asked if I was going to put a tree in every room so I did... I will have to post some pictures once they are up, so please check back in soon.

Plus the card needed a little Christmas ribbon and sparkly red rhinestones. Just like every Christmas present under the tree!

Checkout the rest of the team’s blogs, all links are below just click on their name. Enjoy your holidays, whichever you celebrate with those special people in your life. As we all know, family isn’t always blood, so give everyone a hug and a reminder of how much they mean to you this holiday season.
