Welcome to the December’s Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
It’s all about Christmas and New Years!

I have wanted to make some cards with the Merry Cafe stamp set, so here’s my card. Embossing the cup first came to mind, even though I’m not a coffee drinker myself, I do love hot chocolate though. Since I prefer cold drinks most of the time, I usually have half iced tea/lemonade even on those blizzard days here in New England.

Then I decided to use the Christmas tree paper in the Be Merry DSP. I’m usually into decorating for the holiday, but even with an extra week my tree isn’t up yet in my living room! I have to get on that. Last year I did have trees in every room. My sister doesn’t put up any tree, since their cat likes to crawl up it, lol. I’m sure Crystal “aka Super Stamp Girl” and the other cat moms know all about that. Last year at Thanksgiving my sister asked if I was going to put a tree in every room so I did... I will have to post some pictures once they are up, so please check back in soon.

Plus the card needed a little Christmas ribbon and sparkly red rhinestones. Just like every Christmas present under the tree!

As we all know, family isn’t always blood, so give everyone a hug and a reminder of how much they mean to you this holiday season.

I had to look and see where you got that DSP from because I didn't recognize it and now I see it's from one that I didn't order! Hmmm, too bad I just put in my spring pre-order today!! Happy December! Crystal

The Merry Cafe Set has been my most used Christmas set to date. I'm not a coffee drinker either but I can't get enough of this set! Great card Nikki!

Hi Nicole, what a fun card! I love the background paper and the way you've drawn from the colours and created the card around them. This is perfect for any coffee/tea drinker, whether it's a male or female. Love it. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
